Feel free to look at and print these files! "Modal Verb Möglichkeiten" is for "Modal Verb Possibilities." It shows how different modal verbs can be used for saying similar or the same things. "Hausaufgabe 3-8" is good for some simple vocabulary practice. Which word fits where and which answer matches which question? "Hausaufgabe 4-2/4-3" is great for der/die/das/die practice! Using school supplies and the Kapitel 4 vocabulary, you can try some simple examples on this one. "Hausaufgabe 4-7/4-8" is simple to do, but hard to know what TO do! It's all about who/what/where/when/why/how. In German they also have "whom," (wen) "where from" (woher) and "where to." (wohin) These 3 words are also used on this paper. "Hausaufgabe 6-5/6-10" is perfect for practicing modal verbs and their conjugations. With food vocabulary, this one should be relatively simple. "Hausaufgabe 7-1/7-2" is a simple practice in clothing vocabulary. Using the Kapitel 7 Vokabelliste, labeling these clothing items should be a piece of Kuchen! "Hausaufgabe 7-4/7-5" is a good practice with various types of verbs - many regular and many irregular. The goal for this one is to practice Kapitel 7 vocabulary with those verbs. Curious about the "formal" and "informal" speech in German? Check out the file on the left called "Du oder Sie". It will help describe when German speakers use the more formal "Sie" and when they use the less formal "Du". Say this to yourself, over and over and in your sleep: nominative = subject, accusative = direct object Below this line are links to various internet resources that can help you practice German in many different ways: Here is the best translator out there! (blue being the easiest, red being the hardest) https://www.youtube.com/user/germanpod101 Here is the "German with Jenny" Youtube channel. She is good at demonstrating specific German phrases with slow, understandable speaking. She also provides the German and English translations to what she is saying. This website covers news of current events by native speakers in German. They don't speak incredibly slowly, but it is certainly not at a native speaker's pace. Most importantly, the words are also provided to read along with the speaking. An excellent practice with more https://www.newsinslowgerman.com/ Here's a long-running source for German practice. The "Easy German" channel that interviews people on the street!
